Mumbai Airport Announces Exciting Winter Schedule 2025 with New Global Routes, ETTravelWorld

Mumbai International Airport, operator of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, has announced its Winter Schedule for 2025–26, introducing an expanded network of destinations and improved connectivity to major international hubs. The schedule, effective from 26 October 2025 to 28 March 2026, will connect Mumbai to 129 destinations – 60 international and 69 domestic – reinforcing its position as a premier aviation gateway for India.

Compared to the previous year, the Winter Schedule 2025 highlights a notable 18 per cent growth in European sector operations, with new routes and additional frequencies across established destinations. Two new European routes — Copenhagen and Athens (upcoming) – along with Denpasar Bali, are being introduced for the first time from Mumbai, expanding travel options for both business and leisure travellers.

The airport will also see frequency increases to London Heathrow, Amsterdam, and Paris, further boosting Mumbai’s long-haul connectivity. Enhanced services across Asia-Pacific and Europe are expected to result in a steady rise in daily flight movements and passenger traffic over the season.

Among international airlines, Emirates, Etihad, and British Airways remain the top three operators from CSMIA, while IndiGo, Air India, and Akasa Air lead domestic operations. Collectively, these carriers will contribute around 75 per cent of total flight operations during the winter schedule.

With the festive travel season approaching, CSMIA has implemented multiple technology-led measures to streamline the passenger journey. Facilities such as DigiYatra-enabled e-gates, Self-Baggage Drop (SBD), and Self Check-in kiosks have been expanded to reduce queue times and ensure smoother throughput during high-demand periods including school holidays, Christmas, and New Year.

Through the Winter Schedule 2025–26, MIAL reaffirms its focus on providing world-class airport services, improved operational efficiency, and a seamless passenger experience, catering to millions of domestic and international travellers flying through Mumbai each year.
