Gurpreet Singh was the best Indian in action on Saturday at the ISSF World Championships in Cairo, with a ninth-place finish in the 25m standard pistol, a non-Olympic event. Gurpreet was tied on 571 points with Kevin Chapon of France, but finished lower due to fewer inner ten shots. Rajkanwar Singh Sandhu and Udayveer Sidhu were placed 23rd and 24th, respectively. The trio was fifth in the team event.
