IndiGo has announced a new codeshare partnership with Jetstar to offer Indian travellers expanded access to destinations in Australia and New Zealand. The agreement, effective for bookings from 21 July 2025 and travel starting 01 September 2025, will allow IndiGo customers to book a single itinerary combining both carriers’ networks. Connections will be routed through Jetstar-operated flights departing Singapore, Bangkok and Phuket.

The partnership will enable IndiGo passengers to access 14 new destinations, including major cities like Sydney, the Gold Coast and Auckland, through a seamless booking process on the IndiGo website. Subject to regulatory approvals, the agreement will simplify travel for passengers by offering integrated itineraries, through check-in for baggage, and coordinated flight schedules.

According to the airline, the arrangement is a key milestone in its ongoing international expansion strategy, offering more convenient travel options while strengthening trade, tourism and cultural exchanges between India, Australia and New Zealand.

Stephanie Tully, CEO of Jetstar, said, “The partnership between the two airlines will significantly boost inbound tourism from India. Australia and New Zealand’s unique attractions, world-class experiences and growing communities of Indian expats make both countries incredibly popular for travellers from the subcontinent. This new codeshare agreement will provide IndiGo customers with convenient access to our extensive network allowing them to take off more for less down under.”

Abhijit Dasgupta, Senior Vice President – Network Planning & Revenue Management, IndiGo, added, “We are pleased to expand the horizons and offer our customers convenient connections from India to Australia and New Zealand. This codeshare agreement with Jetstar will further strengthen business, trade and tourism related travel between the countries while fostering cultural exchanges. This expansion is a part of IndiGo’s Internationalization strategy and commitment to delivering affordable, on-time, courteous, and hassle-free travel experience across our unparalleled network.”

This agreement marks IndiGo’s latest effort to enhance its international footprint and provide more value-added services to its passengers through strategic global partnerships.
