SpiceJet has announced a major network and fleet expansion for the Winter 2025 schedule, with the airline set to operate 250 daily flights—more than double its 125 daily services from the summer schedule and significantly higher than the 150 daily flights operated last winter.
The move marks a 100 per cent increase in capacity compared to the Summer 2025 schedule and reflects the airline’s renewed growth trajectory amid rising domestic and international travel demand. SpiceJet’s target of 250 daily flights will be achieved once all 19 newly leased aircraft are inducted and operational in the coming weeks. The expanded schedule is being rolled out in phases beginning October 26, 2025.
International operations receive a notable boost with the launch of daily non-stop flights from Delhi and Mumbai to Phuket, offering enhanced options for leisure travellers. On the domestic front, the airline is strengthening metro connectivity with Mumbai–Bengaluru services going twice daily from November 1 and 15, and new Chennai–Bengaluru flights starting November 8.
SpiceJet is also ramping up services to key tourist and regional destinations. Rajasthan’s top winter hotspots—Jaipur, Udaipur, and Jaisalmer—gain new and enhanced links, including Kolkata–Jaipur and Kolkata–Udaipur flights from October 31. Jaipur will be connected to Guwahati and Mumbai from November 7, while Udaipur gains links to Delhi and Mumbai, and Jaisalmer to Delhi from November 15.
Pilgrimage and regional routes continue to be a focus area. Ayodhya will see increased connectivity, with daily services from Delhi and Ahmedabad continuing through winter and new flights from Mumbai (October 26) and Hyderabad (November 6). Varanasi will be connected to Pune and Hyderabad, while Patna adds new flights to Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Chennai. Kolkata will link with Ahmedabad and Chennai from October 26, with a second daily Chennai service launching November 6. A new Ahmedabad–Chennai daily service begins November 27.
“This winter marks a significant phase of growth for SpiceJet. Doubling our daily flights is a clear reflection of SpiceJet’s renewed momentum and growth strategy. The steady expansion of our fleet will allow us to enhance frequency on key routes and launch new destinations, delivering more choice, capacity, and value to our passengers,” said Debojo Maharshi, Chief Business Officer, SpiceJet.
By November 2025, SpiceJet expects to more than double its operational fleet and triple its available seat kilometres (ASKM), positioning the airline for sustained growth across new domestic and international markets.
