Eka Publishers today announced that it has reached into an agreement with the Canada based author Ihab Antabli to publish and distribute his best selling book on project management in India. Book titled “Compare PMP’s Theories with Real-Life Project Management” (Paperback ISBN : 978-1-7778051-0-4) was first published in Canada on September 17, 2021. This book or you can even say a working manual aims to compare project management practices in the real world rather than theory. This manual will focus on concrete examples of project management tools and techniques. The case studies are such that both, a newly graduated project manager and an experienced dinosaur project manager can benefit from this manual.
The book was written to offer practical tools to people who don’t have a lot of time but are motivated to excel at project management in the construction industry keeping North American companies in mind. The book has been edited to help its Indian readers. The Indian edition will also have the same title (Paperback ISBN: 978-93-91672-09-6). Book is going to help the project managers to excel at a job interview for a project manager or program manager position immediately after completing this book, familiarize the readers with the standards and forms widely used in public and private companies, provide tools and methods to administer the processes, gain practical experience controlling project constraints: cost, quality, scope, and schedule throughout the life cycle of projects, and explore real-world reporting techniques used in project and portfolio management.
The book will be printed and distributed in India exclusively by Eka Publishers and soon will be made available on various online platforms like Amazon.in, Flipkart.com and offline distribution channels. About the author: IHAB ANTABLI, MEng., is a Professional Engineer, Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified, Freelance Small Building Designer for the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, and Leed Green Associate. He received his B.S. (1993) in Civil Engineering from the Beirut Arab University and a Masters in Engineering from Concordia University in Montreal (2008). He has worked as a project manager and engineer in Canada as well as internationally.
