New Delhi: KL Rahul-led Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) defeated Rishabh Pant-led Delhi Capitals by six runs in the 45th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday to jump to second spot in IPL 2022 Points table. Lucknow is on the verge of securing a spot in the IPL 2022 playoffs. The franchise, playing its debut season has done pretty well by winning seven out of ten IPL matches.
On Sunday, fifties from KL Rahul and Deepak Hooda helped Lucknow post a mammoth 195-run target on board against Delhi Capitals. The match turned out to be an absolute thriller as it went down to the last over. Ultimately, Lucknow managed to attain a six-run win over Delhi.

Meanwhile, Gautam Gambhir’s aggressive reaction after LSG’s win went viral on social media. The mentor of Lucknow could not control his emotions as soon as Delhi was defeated. Even during his playing days, Gambhir was known to be a player who never shied away from expressing his emotions on and off the field.

Lucknow (LSG) has a really good chance of becoming one of the first teams to make it to the playoffs. Apart from them Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans (GT), IPL 2022 table-toppers with eight wins from nine matches, also have a great chance of qualifying for the playoffs.
