Aeroprime Group hosted the official launch event of Centrum Air’s new direct flights between Delhi and Tashkent, set to commence on October 3, 2025. The evening was attended by His Excellency Sardor Rustambaev, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India, along with senior dignitaries, embassy officials, media representatives and trade partners.
The launch marks an important step in strengthening air connectivity between India and Uzbekistan. Centrum Air will operate the service twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays, offering affordable fares, convenient schedules and a comfortable travel experience for passengers. Aeroprime Group, as Centrum Air’s exclusive General Sales Agent (GSA) in India, will oversee the carrier’s market expansion and passenger services in the country.
Adil Mirza Khalmirzaev, GSA Department Head and Business Development Director, Centrum Air, said the airline is responding to growing demand for direct links between India and Uzbekistan. He announced plans to launch flights from Hyderabad and Bengaluru to Tashkent by summer 2026. “Mumbai is not in plans right now because of excessive competition, but based on demand, we do look forward to expansion in near future,” he added.
Abhishek Goyal, CEO & Executive Director, Aeroprime Group, said: “Along with the Delhi–Tashkent route, we have very ambitious plans to expand Centrum Air’s presence in the Indian market. Plans to further launch Hyderabad and Bengaluru flights to Tashkent, connecting further into Central Asia and Europe, will unlock multiple opportunities for Indian travellers, especially with upcoming new routes.”
Uzbekistan, with its Silk Road heritage, cultural landmarks and hospitality, is expected to benefit from the enhanced accessibility. The new service is anticipated to support both leisure travel and trade, while strengthening cultural ties between the two countries.
