In India, we take weddings very seriously. It’s not a one-day affair, it’s a week-long agenda. Starting a #thegreatindianwedding series where in we will be showcasing different outfits for all small and big wedding festivities. Kicking off the series with MEhndhi and dhokli night look.
Mehndhi and dholki are essential in every wedding. dancing on dholak is what added that celebratory touch to the rituals. Its something that we do for a week, leading up to the wedding day.
For a at home dholki, here is a Indian outfit. I got this gorgeous Rivaaj Suit. The suit is simple and can be dressed up for any occasion.
If you want to wear it to the office, you can just add simple jewelry and call it a look but for a wedding function, I decided to go all out with the jewelry.
Rivaaj suit in this gorgeous pattern, rich color and lux fabric look quite elegant. I paired it up with oxidised jewellery from Theej. Heavy neckpiece and elaborate earrings make it a perfect mehndi loo.
