The state government of Karnataka, after a gap of 2 months, issued an order granting a 50% concession on the fines for all the unpaid traffic e-challan cases registered by the Police Department.

Karnataka Reintroduces 50% Concession on Pending Traffic E-Challan Fines

This concession from the government shall be available during a limited time period which would be from November 21 to December 12, 2025. Earlier, the government had announced 50% discount on all pending traffic fines from August 23 to September 12.

As per the order, it should be noted that those vehicle owners who have pending traffic fines can settle their dues by paying only 50% of the total amount during the concession period.

After a gap of 2 months, the State government has issued an order granting a 50% concession on fines for all unpaid traffic e-challan cases registered by the Police Department.

How to Check & Pay Pending Challan Fines?

As per the official release, the fines can be paid via multiple platforms that would in turn ease the process of payments:

  • Via the Karnataka State Police (KSP) app
  • ASTraM app of the Bengaluru Traffic Police
  • By providing the vehicle registration number at the nearest traffic police station and checking the dues
  • Traffic Management Centre, and through the Karnataka One/Bangalore One websites.

The government expects the initiative to help clear a large number of long-pending e-challan cases across the State.
