Pakistan’s information minister said early on Wednesday (April 30, 2025) that Islamabad had “credible intelligence” that India was planning an imminent military strike over the recent deadly Pahalgam terror strike.
“Pakistan has credible intelligence that India intends to launch a military strike within the next 24 to 36 hours using the Pahalgam incident as a false pretext,” Attaullah Tarar said in a statement shortly before 2 a.m. local time on Wednesday (2.30 a.m. IST).
“Any act of aggression will be met with a decisive response. India will be fully responsible for any serious consequences in the region!”, Mr. Tarar added.
