The top-ranked Indian men’s and women’s compound teams reached their respective finals to ensure two medals for the country in the Archery World Cup Stage-2 in Shanghai on Wednesday.

Both will meet Mexico in the finals.

Women: Pre-quarterfinals: India (Madhura Dhamangaonkar, V. Jyothi Surekha, Chikitha Taniparthi) got a bye; Quarterfinals: India bt Kazakhstan 232-229 (58-58, 58-56, 59-59, 57-56); Semifinals: India bt Great Britain 232-230 (58-59, 57-59, 59-56, 58-56).

Recurve: Qualification: Men: Individual: B. Dhiraj (ninth, 677), Tarundeep Rai (28th, 666), Atanu Das (57th, 652), Parth Salunkhe (60th, 651); Team: India (seventh, 1995).

Women: Individual: Deepika Kumari (12th, 655), Ankita Bhakat (17th, 652), Anshika Kumari (29th, 642), Simranjeet Kaur (39th, 637); Team: India (third, 1949); Mixed team: India (eighth, 1332).
