The Howrah-Mumbai Amrit Bharat Express will operate via Nagpur and Wardha Junction, covering a total distance of 1968 km in approximately 31 hours. The train is expected to run twice a week and can achieve a maximum speed of 130 kmph. Designed to be both economical and efficient, the train will offer two main coach types—Sleeper Class and General Class—with the Sleeper Class ticket priced around ₹800, making it an ideal option for budget-conscious travellers.

Along its route, the Amrit Bharat Express will make 23 scheduled stops, including key stations such as Kharagpur, Tatanagar, Rourkela, Bilaspur, Raipur, Nagpur, Bhusaval, Nashik Road, Kalyan, and Dadar, before arriving at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) in Mumbai. These strategically chosen stops aim to serve a wide range of regions and connect Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities effectively.

Howrah-Mumbai Amrit Bharat Express: Timetable and Inclusive Travel Initiative

According to the tentative timetable, the train will depart Howrah at 06:00 hrs and reach Mumbai by 13:00 hrs the following day. On its return journey, the CSMT-Howrah service will depart at 16:00 hrs and arrive in Howrah at 23:00 hrs the next day.
