This announcement comes at a critical time, with the next academic session around the corner and rising demand for student visas.

The Embassy shared a link for students to check appointment availability by location across India. This expanded access is aimed at streamlining the visa process and ensuring timely approvals for students preparing to travel.

- In 2023, the US Consular team in India issued over 1.4 lakh student visas, the highest from any country.
- The US Mission in India processed a record 1.4 million visas in total in 2023.
