AI-driven interior discovery platform Roomstory.ai has raised ₹3 crore in a pre-seed funding round. The funding was led by Rukam Capital’s Sitara Fund, with participation from angel investors including Aakash Anand, founder of Bella Vita Organic, and startup accelerator Wolfpack Labs.
Making Interior Shopping Easier
Roomstory.ai is building a smart platform where users can explore beautifully designed rooms and instantly shop for all the featured items. It combines the feel of a design inspiration app like Pinterest with a seamless shopping experience. Every room shown on the platform is shoppable, allowing users to recreate the look in their own homes.
Founded by Industry Experts
The startup was co-founded by Ekatva Jain, Sahil Lunia, and Punit Jain, who bring together more than 10 years of experience in interior design. The founding team has worked on over 100 residential and commercial interior projects, which helped shape the platform’s features.
Plans for Growth
Roomstory.ai will use the new funds to enhance its AI engine, develop its website and mobile apps, and grow its design-focused community. The goal is to make home design faster, smarter, and more affordable for everyday users.
Speaking about the platform’s mission, CEO Ekatva Jain said, “Most platforms separate design inspiration from shopping. We want to bridge that gap. Our platform lets users see a complete room and shop every product directly.”
A Growing Market
India’s home and interior market is expanding quickly. According to industry estimates, the interior design market is expected to reach $38.2 billion by 2027, with a strong demand for tech-enabled solutions.
With this funding, Roomstory.ai aims to tap into this growing opportunity by making interior styling and product discovery easier for modern Indian consumers.
