During his red carpet interview, SRK had to introduce himself as the hosts speaking to him seemed unaware of who he was. As the journalists stood in front of him, King Khan introduced himself and said, “I am Shah Rukh.”

He then proceeded to talk about his outfit designed by Sabyasachi. In a separate media interaction, he shared that he was nervous to walk the MET Gala red carpet and the designer convinced him to attend the event. When asked about the history he was creating, “I don’t know about history, but I am extremely nervous and excited. I’ve not done many red carpets, I’m very shy.”
Sabyasachi also decoded SRK’s looks and said, “Just to give a little more context, Shah Rukh Khan is probably one of the most famous men in the world, and his fan following is legendary. We nearly had a stampede outside the hotel when we came out. When you get a man like this on the red carpet, especially when it is Black Dandy, representation is the most important thing. And we wanted to represent Shah Rukh Khan as Shah Rukh Khan and nobody else.”
When the most famous man in the world walks the red carpet, it’s not just fashion. It’s representation. Sabyasachi didn’t dress a star, he represented Shah Rukh Khan as Shah Rukh Khan. Nothing less! ð¤

The actor donned a stylish black suit with many golden necklaces. The two most prominent necklaces include one with his initials ‘SRK’ and another with the letter ‘K’. He also donned four exquisite rings on his left hand, along with an eye-grabbing watch.
