Bigg Boss 19 contestant Farhana Bhatt has found herself at the center of yet another major controversy. Known for her fiery personality inside the Bigg Boss house, Farhana has been clashing with several housemates, most recently with music composer Amaal Malik. However, things took an ugly turn outside the show when Amaal Malik’s aunt allegedly called Farhana a terrorist in a YouTube interview.

In response, Farhana Bhatt’s family has taken legal action against her, demanding a public apology and ₹1 crore in compensation for the mental anguish caused by the remark. The news was confirmed through a press note released by Farhana Bhatt’s team, which was also shared on her official social media handles. The statement described Farhana, an actress and national-level Taekwondo athlete as deeply hurt and outraged by the derogatory and communal remarks made against her.

The press note read, “Actress and national-level Taekwondo athlete Farhana Bhatt, who is currently appearing on Bigg Boss 19, has expressed deep anguish and outrage over the derogatory and communal comments made against her in a recent YouTube interview.” The legal notice, issued by Farhana’s family, described the remarks as defamatory and stated that instead of retaliating with hate or slander, they had chosen to respond through lawful means.

“The family has decided to respond with dignity and legal action rather than succumbing to online provocation. The notice demands the removal of the offensive video, a public apology, and ₹1 crore in compensation for the mental distress caused,” the statement continued. The family has also forwarded copies of the legal notice to both the National Commission for Women and the Maharashtra State Women’s Commission, calling for swift action and accountability.
