After disruption at various airports on Tuesday, a software issue was reported at Delhi airport and resolved soon, officials said.

Earlier in the day, Air India issued advisory after a third-party system disruption affected check-in systems at various airports. The disruptions caused delays across multiple airlines.
In post on X, Air India said: “A third-party system disruption has been affecting check-in systems at various airports, resulting in delays across multiple airlines, including Air India. Our airport teams are working diligently to ensure a smooth check-in experience for all passengers. While the system is progressively getting restored, some of our flights may continue to experience delays until the situation fully normalises.”
Later, Air India also shared a post confirming that the issue was resolved. “The third-party system has been fully restored, and check-in at all airports is functioning normally. All our flights are operating as per schedule. We thank our passengers for their understanding.”

Similar glitches were reported in the past month in Air India’s check-in systems at Delhi and some other airports due to a third-party connectivity network issue.
On November 5, the check-in systems were down at terminals T2 and T3 of Delhi Airport for around 70 minutes from 3.40 pm till 4.50 pm.
“A third-party connectivity network issue had impacted check-in systems at some airports. The system has since been restored. However, some of our flights may continue to be delayed for some time as the situation normalises progressively,” it said.
