The special flight carrying Tahawwur Hussain Rana, who is accompanied by a special team of intelligence and investigative officials, left at around 7:10 pm India time on Wednesday and is expected to land this afternoon.

Once Rana lands in Delhi, he will be officially arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and will be lodged at the Tihar jail, where all the preparations for his stay have been completed. Heightened security has been put in place around the central prison in view of Rana’s extradition.
