The Enforcement Directorate has initiated proceedings to take possession of properties worth 661 crore rupees linked to Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi in the National Herald case. These properties, belonging to Associated Journals Limited, are located in Delhi, Mumbai, and Lucknow. The ED is investigating the alleged fraudulent takeover of Associated Journals Limited by Young India Limited. The Congress party has accused the ED of acting under pressure, calling it BJP’s attempt to target the Gandhi family, while the BJP maintains that the ED is following routine procedure.
