At least three people were killed after a speeding car fell into the Jagbudi River from the Mumbai-Goa highway on Monday.
The driver of the car survived but sustained serious injuries. The relief team promptly arrived at the scene, retrieved the car from the river, and provided assistance.
The deceased were travelling from Mumbai to Devrukh, a town in the Ratnagiri district when the accident happened at approximately 6 am today. The police have sent the bodies for postmortem and have initiated an investigation into the matter.
