The black box of the crashed Air India flight AI-171 will be sent to the United States for data recovery. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) in Washington will analyse the heavily damaged flight data recorder and cockpit voice recorder. Indian officials will supervise the process to ensure proper protocol is followed. The black box is crucial in deciphering the cause of the crash and the final moments before the incident.
