Adriyan Karmakar missed the gold by 0.3 point to Jesper Johansson of Sweden in the 50m rifle prone event, and opened India’s account with a silver in the Junior World Cup shooting in Suhl, Germany, on Tuesday. India has fielded more than 50 in the prestigious annual meet, and the shooters will try to assert their class in the Olympic events of pistol, rifle and shotgun.
