Six-team Gujarat Super League kicks off on May 1

The Gujarat State Football Association (GSFA) will conduct the second season of the Gujarat Super League (GSL) at the Eka Football Ground, TransStadia, near Kankaria, Ahmedabad, from May 1 to 13.

In a release, Parimal Nathwani, president of Gujarat State Football Association said, “It gives me immense pleasure to witness the Gujarat Super League entering its second season. I express my sincere appreciation to all the team owners for their continued dedication and investment in the growth of franchise-based football in Gujarat.”

The six competing franchises: Ahmedabad Avengers (Sahil Patel & Shalin Patel), Gandhinagar Giants (Prashant Sanghvi & Ananya Sanghvi), Karnavati Knights (Advaita Patel & Yash Shah), Saurashtra Spartans (Kushal Patel), Surat Strikers (Alkesh Patel), Vadodara Warriors (Kamlesh Gohil).
