Keerthana to take on Anupama for title

Karnataka’s Keerthana Pandian came up with a gritty effort to show reigning champion Amee Kamani the door in the women’s semifinals of the National 6-Red Snooker Championships here on Friday.

Keerthana’s surprisingly lopsided 4-1 win over the formidable Amee helped her set up a final date with Anupama Ramachandran, the reigning Asian snooker champion. Tamil Nadu cueist Anupama scored a comfortable 4-1 win over Ishika Shah of Madhya Pradesh.
