How to Create WhatsApp Stickers Using ChatGPT Native Image Generator

OpenAI took the internet by storm yet another time with its native image generation feature in ChatGPT. It allows users to create high-quality images with simple text prompts. The internet uses it to generate Ghibli-style images, while others have already found the best use cases for this feature.

One such case is the ability to create high-quality ads, remove and edit elements in the image, and make complex edits to the images that were impossible for regular users.

We at TechPP also tested this feature and have used it for recent wallpaper drops featuring high-quality Ghibli-style wallpapers for your Phone. We tried another best use case of this tool: generating your WhatsApp stickers.

Since the ChatGPT image generation is now available for everyone (the free version has limits of up to 3 image generations per day), anyone can create personalized WhatsApp stickers and use them in conversations. Follow the below guide and generate them.

How to generate your WhatsApp stickers using the Native image generation feature on Chatgpt

  • If you use a web browser, you can visit ChatGPT.com; if you use mobile, download the ChatGPT app for Android or iPhone.
  • Open ChatGPT app or visit chatgpt.com and select the GPT-4o model.
  • If you want to create your version of a WhatsApp sticker or for your friends, click the plus icon and upload your image.
  • Next, select Create Image Features.
  • Now, enter the following prompt. Generate WhatsApp stickers from this image.
    Upload your image to ChatGPT
  • Once the image is generated, click the download button and save it locally. If you want to generate images in other formats, we have also generated chibi-style WhatsApp stickers that are cute and fun. You can view that detailed guide here. If you want to convert your image into funny animation, upload your image and enter the prompt that says “generate a sticker pack out of this image of pack 4.” then wait for some time, and the model will generate the images for you.

You can upload your image and ask ChatGPT to convert it into various WhatsApp stickers with funny images. You can do this for any image or character (non-copyright characters) and generate your versions of the sticker packs.

Generate text-based WhatsApp stickers

While the stickers are a great way to generate fun and express your emotions in a fun way, they can come in handy, especially if you want to communicate visually what you mean without being misunderstood. It can be as regular as the good morning message or stickers related to your most used words to add some extra personalization. Similarly, there are plenty of innovative ways to generate text-based stickers. For instance, you can use your image to create WhatsApp stickers or use the simple text prompt to generate the WhatsApp stickers. Use the prompt below.

3d stickers

Not just the 2D stickers, ChatGPT can generate 3D stickers for you. You can use similar prompts to generate the best WhatsApp 3D stickers for yourself, and again, you can upload your selfie and generate the 3D version of yourself or use any popular characters that are non-copyright or places and generate 3D stickers for yourself.

How to add these stickers to your WhatsApp account

Once you generate the sticker, ChatGPT can generate 4 stickers for you at once. To add them to your account, if you use a Samsung, iPhone, or any flagship smartphone, you can directly go into the Photos app, open the image, and long-press on the sticker. Then you can copy the sticker directly or convert the image into the sticker and use it on your favorite messaging apps like WhatsApp.

However, if your mobile doesn’t support it, you can manually turn that image into a sticker. There are plenty of free third-party websites that turn your images into WhatsApp stickers, but in this case, let’s use the built-in WhatsApp sticker conversion tool.

First, head over to the Photos app. If the image has more than 1 sticker, you can crop it and save it as individual images.

  • Open WhatsApp on your mobile (this method works for Android and iPhone) and go to any chat you want to share the sticker; if you dont want, you can message yourself.
Open Whatsapp and click on the sticker icon
  • Click on the sticker icon on the left and go to the Stickers tab, if you’re not already there.

WhatsApp is the most popular messaging app worldwide for communicating with loved ones and some fun group discussions with friends. WhatsApp has plenty of features to make these conversions more engaging, and one such feature is the WhatsApp stickers.

WhatsApp stickers have changed how I communicate on those platforms. Unlike text messages, WhatsApp stickers have brought more fun and engagement to the conversations. However, despite powerful WhatsApp stickers, there is still no reliable source you can depend on to find the best and latest stickers that express your conversations. Fortunately, this is no longer the case. Now, you can generate any WhatsApp sticker pack you want and use it in your WhatsApp conversations.

I have been playing with tools and generated some cool-looking WhatsApp stickers (you can download all the sticker packs using the direct download links above).
