The Most Underrated Feature in Perplexity You’re Probably Not Using Yet

Perplexity is gaining traction among users. Recently, the Comet browser has been made available for everyone and also offered a Pro subscription for free for all Airtel users in India. Currently, the Perplexity user base is growing and has the most useful AI features among most of the AI assistants.

For instance, the recent finance feature is a gold mine for stock market analysts to keep track of company financial earnings. Recently, while I was researching its best features, I discovered the task feature, which is one of the best offerings from Perplexity right now. It is a game-changer for me, and it can also be very useful to simplify your everyday tasks.

In this guide, you will learn about how you can use the Perplexity tasks feature to automate routine browser tasks and get detailed briefs.

Understanding Perplexity Tasks

I recently discovered the Perplexity tasks feature, where you can automate Perplexity tasks and run them at specific time intervals. Even when you are offline, the tasks you have created run on the server and notify you on the app or the website, and you can even get an email notification.

For example, if you read the news daily, you can schedule a task that runs every morning to get a summary of the news every day. And if you are a trader, you can schedule a task to get stock market updates for the day every morning, not just that, you can also use it to get price drop alerts, and also get notified about products that are back in stock, and more.

Perplexity Tasks feature is currently available for Pro and Enterprise users. If you live in India, you can get it for free if you are an Airtel user; if you live outside India, you need to subscribe to the Pro account, which costs 20 dollars per month. Once you have the Perplexity Pro subscription, you can schedule up to 10 tasks. Once tasks are created, you can change their status, update and even delete them.
