Air India and Air India Express have announced the addition of 166 weekly flights to and from Patna to cater to the increased travel demand during the festive season of Diwali and Chhath Puja.
Between 15 October and 2 November 2025, Air India will operate 38 additional flights each between Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru and Patna, adding a total of 114 flights to its schedule.
Similarly, between 22 October and 3 November 2025, Air India Express will operate 26 additional flights each between Delhi and Patna and Bengaluru and Patna, contributing another 52 flights during this period.
These additions come on top of Air India’s existing 42 weekly flights from Delhi and Mumbai and Air India Express’s 14 weekly flights from Delhi and Bengaluru, significantly expanding air access to the Bihar capital during peak travel weeks.
The enhanced schedule will provide greater convenience for travellers visiting family and friends and is expected to ease capacity constraints on key routes during one of the busiest travel periods of the year.
Flights to and from Patna will also provide smooth onward connections via Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru to other parts of India and to destinations in the Middle East and Europe.
Bookings for the additional flights are now open through the official websites and mobile apps of Air India and Air India Express, as well as through their 24×7 contact centres, airport ticketing offices, and authorised travel agents worldwide.
