IndiGo has announced the launch of daily direct flights between Indore and Rewa in Madhya Pradesh, effective December 22, 2025. This new route establishes the first-ever direct air connectivity between the two cities, reinforcing the airline’s efforts to strengthen regional air travel in central India.
The route will be operated using IndiGo’s ATR aircraft, providing an affordable and reliable travel option for passengers. The addition of Rewa as IndiGo’s sixth destination in Madhya Pradesh follows Bhopal, Gwalior, Indore, Jabalpur, and Khajuraho. With this development, IndiGo continues its focus on expanding connections between Tier-II and Tier-III cities across the country.
Vinay Malhotra, Head of Sales, IndiGo, said, “We are pleased to announce daily, direct flights between Rewa and Indore, as we further expand our domestic network. Rewa is our sixth destination in Madhya Pradesh after Bhopal, Gwalior, Indore, Jabalpur, and Khajuraho. This new route strengthens our presence in India’s heartland, widening the growth corridors between Tier-II and Tier-III cities. Through such routes, we continue to support our vision of accessible and seamless air travel across India.”
The launch is expected to enhance accessibility to Rewa’s cultural, natural, and historical attractions, including Rewa Fort, Govindgarh Palace, Bahuti Falls, Purwa Falls, and the famed White Tiger Safari.
Located in the Vindhya region of Madhya Pradesh, Rewa is recognised for its rich heritage and natural beauty. IndiGo’s new connection between Rewa and Indore aligns with its broader mission of promoting air travel to emerging destinations, boosting tourism, and supporting regional development across India.
