IndiGo, India’s preferred airline, has announced the launch of daily, direct flights between Mumbai and Madinah, effective 15 November 2025. The new service will operate using an Airbus A320 aircraft, offering passengers a seamless and affordable travel option to one of the holiest cities in the Islamic world.
Bookings are now open on the IndiGo website (www.goIndiGo.in), mobile app, and through authorised travel partners.
With this addition, IndiGo strengthens its presence in Saudi Arabia, where it already operates over 150 weekly flights connecting India with Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam, and Madinah. The Mumbai–Madinah service marks IndiGo’s second direct connection to Madinah, complementing the existing Hyderabad–Madinah route, which will also be upgraded from four times a week to daily service starting 16 November 2025.
This expansion makes IndiGo the only Indian carrier offering direct connectivity between Mumbai and Madinah, addressing growing demand driven by religious tourism, trade ties, and workforce movement between India and Saudi Arabia.

The launch underscores IndiGo’s continued commitment to expanding international connectivity and enhancing accessibility between India and key destinations in the Middle East. As travel demand rebounds across religious and business segments, the Mumbai–Madinah route is expected to play a pivotal role in facilitating convenient travel for Indian pilgrims and the diaspora community.
