Tata Harrier EV Will Launch On June 3 With These New Feature – Trak.in

Tata Motors has finally set a date for the highly anticipated Harrier EV—June 3, 2025. Unveiled earlier at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, the Harrier EV promises to be a game-changer in India’s growing electric vehicle segment.

Built on Omega Platform With Acti.ev Architecture

The Tata Harrier EV will ride on the Omega architecture, the same platform that underpins its ICE sibling. However, the EV variant features structural modifications in the chassis and floor to accommodate its electric components and battery system. Tata refers to this evolution as the Acti.ev (Gen 2) architecture, indicating a leap in design and performance for the brand’s EVs.

All-Wheel Drive and High Torque Expected

While detailed technical specs remain under wraps, the Harrier EV is confirmed to feature an All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system, thanks to a rear axle-mounted electric motor. It is also expected to house a larger battery pack than Tata’s Curvv.ev, potentially offering torque output close to 500 Nm—making it one of the more powerful EVs in its class.

Design: Familiar Yet Futuristic

The Harrier EV retains much of the bold and muscular styling from the diesel variant. It features:

  • Vertical LED headlamps
  • Blade-shaped Daytime Running Lights (DRLs)
  • Blacked-out D-pillar and floating roofline
  • EV-specific elements like a chrome-trimmed air dam, silver cladding, and unique badging (“.EV” on doors and “HARRIER.EV” on the tailgate)

The EV is also likely to ride on stylish 17-inch to 19-inch wheels.

Premium Interior with Tech-Forward Features

Inside, the Harrier EV mirrors its ICE counterpart with added sophistication. Highlights include:

  • Floating touchscreen infotainment system
  • Digital instrument cluster
  • Four-spoke steering wheel
  • Dual-tone dashboard with touch-based HVAC controls
  • Panoramic sunroof

Final Thoughts

With its premium design, AWD capability, and expected high performance, the Tata Harrier EV is set to attract buyers looking for a powerful and stylish electric SUV. All eyes are now on June 3, 2025, when Tata will finally reveal the full specifications and pricing.
